5 Women Involved in Crime in Kenya

News of the shooting of one of Nairobi's most dreaded gang member, Claire Mwaniki aka Addi Vybz, sparked a heated debate on social media as Kenyans engaged on why such a beauty queen would be involved in crime.

From her looks few, in any, would have suspected that Ms Mwaniki was one of the members of the feared Gaza gang that has been terrorising residents of Kayole estate.

She was shot dead a week ago, following fire exchange with police officers who ambushed her and three others robbing members of the public along Kangundo Road.

2. Ruth Kamande

When she took to the runway, reigning Miss Langata Prison Ruth Kamande captured the country with her stunning beauty.

Many were left wondering why she was behind bars, but it emerged that she was jailed for allegedly killing her boyfriend by stabbing him 22 times.
