Police Arrest 3 Men at Burial of Nairobi 'Prettiest Thug' Claire Njoki Kibia

Police officers on Thursday dramatically arrested three men during the funeral of a female gangster identified as Claire Njoki Kibia alias 'Nairobi Prettiest thug'.

Samuel Kiboi, Amos Ngaire and a third man were allegedly ordered to lie down by police carrying pistols, on suspicion that they were gang members.

A wife to one of the arrested men narrated the ordeal to journalists indicating the swift manner in which the police operated.

"They attacked and harrassed us, claiming that they were looking for criminals. We had come to bury our loved one but they took away my husband," she lamented.

Media reports had earlier indicated that plain clothes police had attended the funeral causing some of the deceased girl's friends to stay away.

The funeral was held at her parent's rural home in Kambirwa, Murang'a County and lacked a written eulogy/funeral program for the late Claire as events were just carried out casually.

The few mourners in the funeral are said to have spoken in low tones and none of her immediate family members addressed the gathering.
