Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama's estranged wife has for the first time exposed secret details of their relationship.
Speaking to a local station, Agnes Kavindu who still maintains that she is Muthama's wife revealed that they divorced a few years after their marriage but later reunited.
According to Kavindu, the Machakos Senator asked for the reunion, something which she also supported.
The politician, who is set to vie for the Machakos Woman Representative seat revealed that they have been living together in a home owned by the Senator and have a son.
She declined to divulge any further details of her family's personal life stating that they already had a case in court.
Kavindu, who also doubles up as a preacher, stated that her Christian faith has seen her forgive what may have happened in the past and is keen on reuniting her family.
Last month, Muthama distanced himself from the aspirant after she declared her candidature for the Woman Representative seat on a Jubilee ticket.
He dismissed Kavindu as a criminal clinging to his name with false claims that he had remarried her.
