Harambee Stars Captain Victor Wanyama Unleashes his Custom-made Volkswagen Crafter CR53

Harambee Stars defensive midfielder Victor Wanyama recently unleashed his latest car, a custom-made Sh25 Million Volkswagen Crafter CR53 as he linked up with his teammates at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos County.

Sources indicate that the German machine was imported sometime in 2016 but members of his family rarely use it.

The 10-seater car is fitted with 3D television screens with full subscription to sports channels, a fridge, coffee maker and interior and exterior CCTV cameras.

The Volkswagen Crafter, introduced in 2006, is the largest 3 to 5 tonne van sold by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and has won a number of awards over the years including overall van of the year and large van of the year (UK).

Wanyama, who enjoyed a stellar season in the English Premier League with Tottenham Hotspurs, is in the country for an African Nations Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone next Saturday.

He also owns a BMW, Hummer and a Lexus.

He has often maintained a low profile despite his stardom and often interacts with locals whenever he attends social events.

Two weeks ago, Wanyama paid a courtesy call to Kenya 7's rugby players in London and gave them Sh260,000 as a morale booster as he joked how he often gets stick because his Tottenham teammates think Kenyans only do well in athletics.
