Two guards were on Sunday night attacked and brutally murdered after unknown assailants raided Thika Road Baptist Church in Nairobi.
The two who were manning the compound, were reportedly hammered with blunt objects and their bodies dumped outside the church.
A huge crowd was attracted by blood and brains of the deceased which were spattered all over the murder scene.
Kasarani OCPD Robinson Mboloi, said the raiders broke into the church's offices, took away money and other valuables.
“They used blunt objects to kill the two guards and we are yet to know details of the goods stolen and make arrests so far,” said Mboloi.
This comes barely a week after two more guards were hacked to death, after they tried to intercept a gang from robbing Bangkok Mall in Eastleigh.
