Former SONU Vice-Chair Irene Kendi Declares She Will Abstain from Sex Until Uhuru is Elected

Former Students Organization of Nairobi University (SONU) vice-chair, Irene Kendi has caused on online stir after declaring that she will abstain from sex until President Uhuru Kenyatta is re-elected.

In a post that was viewed as her endorsement of the president, Kendi stated that her abstinence would begin on 18th of June to last until after Uhuru’s confirmed victory.

She also declared that her sex boycott would extend to Igembe South Member of Parliament Mithika Linturi’s election as Meru Senator.

Kenyans on Facebook were surprised by her declaration and expressed mixed reactions to her daring move.

She cited her undying loyalty to Jubilee as her reason for abstinence.

She did not mince her words to people who sort to dismiss her move as an attention seeking stunt.

 

Kendi has been a vocal supporter of Igembe South MP Mithika Linturi's campaign to be Meru Senator.

She was SONU Vice-chairperson serving under Babu Owino who is supporting the opposing coalition and is vying for the Embakasi East Parliamentary seat on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket.
