NASA Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga Splits Campaign Team Ahead of Western Kenya Rallies

The National Super Alliance (NASA) campaign team is set to split into two factions following a directive by the coalition's presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

The approach is intended to help the team cover more ground in their perceived stronghold after President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Jubilee team traversed the region last week.

The two teams will kick off the campaigns in various parts of Trans Nzoia County on Thursday.

Team A will start off at Kiminini before proceeding to Saboti and Endebess and finish in Kitale town where the second team will join them after covering Kwanza. They will then head to Cherangany.

Friday will see the teams focus their efforts on Bungoma where team A will take their campaigns to Cheptais, Sirisia, Bumula and finally to Bungoma town. Team B will tour Tongaren, Kimilili and Webuye town before joining team A in Bungoma town for a joint public rally.

On Saturday, the NASA troops will storm Kakamega County, with team A holding rallies in Shamakhokho, Serem, Boyani, Gisambai and Mbale while team B will be in Luanda, Khumusalaba and Majengo before joining team A in Mbale.

Sunday will be the final day that will see the coalition take campaigns to Busia County where team A will visit Budalangi, Funyula, Bumala, Matayos concluding in Busia town where they will be met by team B which will have toured Malaba, Amagoro, Kimaeti and Nambale.
