Three people were on Wednesday night killed and their bodies dumped on Outering Road near Mutindwa market in Nairobi.
The three met their death at around 11:00 pm after they were reportedly stabbed by unknown assailants.
Police noted that they were investigating the incident to establish the cause of the murders.
The police further noted that it was not yet clear whether the three were murdered on Outering Road or if they were killed elsewhere and dumped on the road.
In a separate incident, a man was shot dead at B3 area in Kayole after he was attacked by armed robbers.
The robbers also shot and injured another person as they fled on a motorbike.
The two incidents come barely a week after 9 suspected thugs were killed in separate incidents in the city.
On Monday, police shot three suspected robbers while six others were gunned down on Sunday after a botched robbery.
