Kenyans on Twitter were discussing this topic after President Uhuru Kenyatta allegedly insulted National Super Alliance flag bearer Raila Odinga during his campaign tour in Murang'a County on Wednesday.

In his speech, Uhuru stated, "Kimudu giki ni kimuguruki twukweda tukihe retire na pension kana atia aidu aitu translated to: "This person is a madman.We need to let him retire and give him pension."

A section of Kenyans expressed displeasure over the remarks stating that Uhuru should respect Raila Odinga as a presidential candidate.

This topic was trending after IEBC declared NASA's plan to have five agents in every polling station as illegal.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati noted that each party was only allowed to have one representative per polling station and not five as NASA was planning.

"In some cases, we have 35 candidates, we cannot accommodate all of them in one polling station," Chebukati stated.

Nyeri

This topic was trending following President Uhuru Kenyatta's campaign tour to Nyeri County on Thursday after campaigning in Murang’a on Wednesday,

The President is expected to make his first stop at Kiamaraiga before heading to Kiawarigi and later Karatina Town in Mathira Constituency.

Ahead of his tour of Nyeri, the leader of the President's reelection campaign in the region Ephraim Maina had warned independent candidates and those from parties allied to Jubilee not to attend the president's rallies in the county.
