Kenyans Question Cost of Sh1.2 Billion Collapsed Sigiri Bridge in Budalangi

The collapse of the Sigiri Bridge in Budalangi Constituency on Monday sparked a hullabaloo with Kenyans taking to social media to share various sentiments.

It was not immediately clear what caused the collapse.

Many of those who discussed the matter sought to find out whether the Sh1.2 Billion quoted cost was accurate.

 The Sh1.2 Billion Sigiri Bridge in Budalangi Constituency collapsed Monday morning about two weeks after President Uhuru Kenyatta visited the area to inspect its construction.
