Former Harambee Stars Captain Bernard Agunda Dies

Former Harambee Stars and Tusker Football Club Captain Bernard Agunda died at his home in Umoja Estate, Nairobi, on Monday.

Agumba was well known for his role in the National team where he served as captain and led the team to lift the Castle Lager Cup under coach Jacob Ghost Mulee in 2002.

Other than his role in the national team, Agumba will also be remembered for leading Brewers Football club to win the Council of East and Central Africa (CECAFA) in 2008.

Agunda's cause of death is still unknown.

Sports fans mourned Agunda's death terming him as a legend.
