Betty Kyalo Urges Kenyans to Let Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho Campaign in Peace

KTN news anchor Betty Kyallo has spoken about Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho who is popularly known as Sultan.

Ms Kyallo on Friday took to Twitter urging her supporters to let the Mombasa Governor campaign in peace in a bid to defend his seat.

The journalist noted that there were few number of days to the August General Election, therefore, the public should allow Joho to seek for votes with minimal disturbance.

Surely wanafaa kuacha sultan afanye campaigns in peace. Imagine ni 38 days zimebaki. Mimi on my part God alinichangamkia, niko blessed (they should let Sultan conduct campaigns in peace. Imagine there are only 38 days remaining. On my part, God has already blessed me),” she tweeted.

The statement was provoked by insinuations that she had been left without a vehicle after the Mombasa Governor repossessed a Porsche Cayenne he allegedly gifted her.

Over the past week, there have been photos doing rounds on social media suggesting the car, registration number KCG 001J, is being used to campaign for the Mombasa Governor and has been branded with his photo and colours of his political party, ODM.

Kyallo has, however, in a series of tweets laughed off any suggestions that the car had been given to her or had been taken away.

She steered clear of the matter dismissing those who had been peddling rumours against her.

Anyone who thinks their words can tear me apart, so sorry but you got the wrong girl So just hate silently don't waste your bundlesPeace
