Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna on Monday night entertained Kenyans after he attacked and shamed his opponents; Senator Mike Sonko, Governor Evans Kidero and Peter Kenneth in the governorship debate.
While submitting his plans for the city, Miguna claimed that Senator Sonko could not be trusted to rule the city as he was "mediocre, clueless and thought that revenue falls from heaven".
The former advisor to Opposition leader Raila Odinga accused Sonko of being a "criminal and a drug dealer who was named by the Criminal Investigations Agency (CIA) in 2009".
Miguna also attacked Governor Kidero stating that he was a "thief" who failed to do anything for Nairobians despite being in office for over 4 years.
In reference to Mr Kenneth, Miguna noted that the former Gatanga MP was a "failure who had nothing to offer Nairobians other than selling beauty".
"You are a failure you even got E in school. I cannot table your academic papers they are so bad to be tabled anywhere," Miguna stated.
Miguna did not, however, go unchallenged as Senator Sonko accused him of being a "madman" who used to break houses.
Sonko noted that Miguna always had his cap on to hide a deep cut on his head.
Governor Kidero on his part noted that he was the best bet for Nairobi as he did not have a past criminal record like some of his opponents.
"I have never been handcuffed, never been imprisoned and never escaped from jail," Kidero stated in an indirect reference to Sonko who once spent time in Shimo La Tewa prison.
