NASA Leader Raila Odinga Cuts Short His Speech After Being Heckled in Kericho

National Super Alliance (NASA) Presidential candidate Raila Odinga has been forced to cut short his speech in Kericho County after being heckled by the residents.

While addressing residents at Kapsoit, the Opposition Leader was reportedly heckled and booed after stating that Agri-business was doing poorly in the area.

The former Prime Minister was branded a liar when he started complaining about the poor infrastructure in the region.

The residents shouted liar! liar! and chanted Jubilee slogans during Raila's address.

Following the continuous heckling, Raila was forced to abandon his speech and hand over to Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.

The Governor addressed the gathering in his native Kalenjin language where he reportedly campaigned for the Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) candidate in the area.

NASA has in the past two days camped in the South Rift where the five Principals have been divided into four groups.

Mr Odinga and Governor Ruto are leading the first team, Mr Musalia Mudavadi is the leading the second team, Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka heading the third team whereas Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho are leading the fourth team.

The four groups are expected to converge at Kericho town later in the evening where they will hold a rally.
