President Uhuru Kenyatta has declared that the Jubilee Party will not participate in talks concerning the printing of the presidential ballot papers.
President Kenyatta on Tuesday stated that Jubilee was not interested in the ballot papers printing tender.
The Head of State made the announcement after IEBC invited all presidential candidates for a meeting on Monday to discuss the move to award the ballot tender awarded to Dubai-based Al Ghurair.
This followed a decision by the High Court to cancel the printing of the Presidential ballot papers.
A three-judge bench of Justice Joel Ngugi, George Odunga and John Mativo faulted IEBC for failing to consult all candidates in the August poll before awarding the Sh2.5-billion tender to Al Ghurair.
In their ruling, the judges also noted that the Commission ignored several procurement processes including public participation as required by law.
Last month, the National Super Alliance (NASA) filed a petition seeking orders to block the printing of the ballot papers on grounds that the Sh2.5 Billion tender was flawed.
According to NASA, Al Ghurair Printing firm has links with Kenyatta and hence cannot be allowed to print the ballot papers.
