Infotrack Poll Reveals Jubilee Will Lose in Uasin Gishu and Mombasa

A new poll by Infotrak Research group has indicated that the Jubilee Party would lose the governorship seats in Mombasa and Uasin Gishu Counties if elections were held today.

According to the poll, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) would win all Mombasa County top seats.

The study reveals that Governor Ali Hassan Joho would retain his seat garnering 63% of the votes while his rival Suleiman Shabal of the Jubilee Party would secure 15.3%.

In the Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial contest, the poll showed that Independent Candidate Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki would beat incumbent Governor Jackson Mandago of the Jubilee Party.

The research, however, indicated that Jubilee would win all the other remaining elective seats in the county.

In Kakamega County, Incumbent Governor Wycliffe Oparanya would defeat Senator Bonny Khalwale according to the findings.

The research shows that Oparanya would get 68% against Khalwale's 13.3%.

The Infotrak poll shows there's still a high number of undecided voters in the counties with barely 24 days to the elections.
