Vehicle Carrying Nicholas Biwott's Body Sticks in Mud Ahead of Burial

Mourners attending the funeral of the late minister Nicholas Biwott in Toot Village, Elgeyo Marakwet County, were forced to push the hearse ferrying the politician's body after the vehicle stuck in the mud.

Residents and government officials were forced to step in and push the car out of the mud.

The late  Biwott is set to be buried today at his Toot village in Elgeyo Marakwet County.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto, and other senior government officials are expected to attend the funeral.

On Wednesday, a requiem mass was held in honour of the former Minister.

Total Man, as he was mostly referred to, died on Tuesday, July 11th, 2017.

He has left behind three widows; Hannie Kiprono, Margaret Kamar, and Kalista Lessie

Biwott had seven children; six daughters and one son.
