New Facebook App "Are You Going to Canaan or Not" Excites Kenyans

A new Facebook application has excited netizens for its hilarious predictions on a call by the National Super Alliance (NASA) for Kenyans "go to Canaan".

The Opposition team has been campaigning with the Biblical story of the Israelite exodus from Egypt to Canaan equating it to changing from the Jubilee administration to a NASA one.

The Alliance supporters christened the presidential flag bearer, Raila Odinga "Joshua" equating him to the Biblical character who led the Israelites into Canaan.

Kenyans have been making jokes on what they expect in "Canaan" which is basically the period after the August 8 General Election.

The Facebook app dubbed Are You Going to Canaan or Not has been making rounds as various users share the prediction made by the app.

It analyses your social media data and gives a prediction of whether the user will be heading to the "promised land" and shares the same on the user's Facebook timeline.

Here are some of the hilarious predictions:

Mr Odinga isn't the only politician who has used Biblical references to sell his bid to voters.
