Siaya Senator James Orengo Exposes 5 Police Officers Who Allegedly Raided NASA Offices in Nairobi

Siaya Senator James Orengo has exposed the names of five police officers who he claims raided the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential tallying centre in Westlands, Nairobi.

Speaking during NASA’s rally at Uhuru Park, Orengo stated that he had retrieved the information from police sources.

He divulged that the raid was conducted by around 15 officers who reportedly took away desktops and laptops that were to be used in the tallying.

According to the Senator, the officers include Corporal Charles Ndungu, Corporal  Lenard Barongo, Corporal Linton Nyaga, Sergeant Richard Serem and Chief Inspector Francis Kimemia.

However, it is not clear why Orengo decided to reveal the five names only.

At the same time, the Senator claimed that the Alliance had information disclosing how the Jubilee administration was planning to rig the August 8 election.

First, the Senator alleged that Jubilee plans to top up their numbers by 10 to 15 votes in around 16,500 polling stations in its strongholds.

Second, he claimed Jubilee would top up the votes electronically using a communication channel at the IEBC centre.

He added that the government had established a software in one of the IEBC servers to periodically add 1-2 votes to the information system at specific polling stations every hour.

Orengo further alleged that the results would be channelled through one of IEBC's IT expert identified as Alex Kioni who he claims replaced slain ICT Manager Chris Msando.

The Senator noted that Alex would be assisted by his brother Benson Kioni who currently works at Kenya power.

Earlier on, he had accused the police of conducting the raid at the tallying centre but affirmed that NASA's plans to count and announce its votes had not been affected.
