NASA Threatens to Move to Court to Stop President Uhuru Kenyatta's Swearing in

The National Super Alliance has threatened to move to court in a bid to stop the swearing in of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The NASA case is based on allegations that the IEBC system was hacked to manipulate the results in favour of President Kenyatta.

The Nation reports that Siaya Senator James Orengo, who is set to retain his seat after he won the election, is working on the NASA case.

Earlier on, at a press conference, NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga claimed that hackers gained entry into the IEBC system on Tuesday at around 12.40pm.

Odinga stated that the hackers accessed the system through passwords that were obtained from the late IEBC ICT boss Chris Msando.

The opposition leader further alleged that the hackers created errors in the document that had presidential votes.

"They loaded an algorithm that created a constant gap of 11% (between Uhuru and Raila)...they also introduced programs that can manipulate data," Odinga stated.

He added,"We have sufficient proof that they effectively disabled the system from detecting date and time thus they were able to add and delete data."

According to the NASA Flag bearer, the oppositions independent tally shows he's leading at 8.1 million votes to Uhuru Kenyatta's 7.2 million votes.

Results transmitted by IEBC through media, however, show President Kenyatta leading with 7.9 million votes against Odinga's 6.5 million votes.
