Water CS Eugene Wamalwa Assures Ababu Namwamba and Ken Lusaka of Presidential Appointments

President Uhuru Kenyatta will appoint former Budalangi lawmaker Ababu Namwamba to a State job, Water Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa has revealed.

Speaking on Wednesday, Wamalwa assured the Labour Party leader along with former Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka that the President will certainly reward them for their loyalty and support during the 2017 General Election.

"Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto never forget their friends and you will soon see for yourselves.

"It was really a hard task for my brother Ababu to oppose Raila Odinga in his area but we tried although he lost his seat, he will have a state job," Wamalwa observed.

In an interview soon after the elections, Ababu had hinted at the new development as he asserted that his political career is far from over.

CS Wamalwa was speaking during a memorial celebration held in honour of his late brother and former Vice President Kijana Wamalwa.

He proudly commended leaders of his community for leading the charge in running a successful campaign for the President in their region.

"As a Luhya team leader in Jubilee, I am happy that this time round we are not passengers in Jubilee but partners because we have our stake in the government," he conveyed.

Wamalwa also lauded the National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders for pursuing their grievances at the Supreme Court.

"We must salute them for accepting to take the electoral results matters to the court this means as a country, we are moving in the direction where our institutions should be respected," he commented.
