National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Isaac Ruto has joined Jubilee leaders for a rally in Kapkatet, Kericho, that is set to be graced by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In photos capturing the event, the Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) Party Leader is seen with a host of Jubilee Leaders waiting to receive Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.

The former Governor was accompanied by Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno who was also supporting Mr Odinga in the August elections.

While Ruto is attending the Jubilee rally in Kapkatet, NASA Leaders led by Mr Odinga are scheduled to host a number of rallies in Ukambani region starting with Machakos.

Earlier this week, Mr Ruto had categorically stated that he was firmly in NASA adding that he would not ditch the opposition for President Kenyatta's team.
Regarding his absence from the political scene, the former Governor noted that he was keeping a low profile to "allow Bomet people settle" and provide an easy transition for the new regime.
"I am in NASA to stay. I have decided to maintain a low profile to allow Bomet people to settle. I know the election was marred with a lot of irregularities since government machinery was used to intimidate my supporters," he stated.
He rubbished claims that he had been approached to join Jubilee, saying that it was regrettable that most of his agents were chased out of polling centres during the elections.
"I am Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) Party, leader. How can I defect to another political outfit. Jubilee has not approached me but I have seen things blown out of proportion on social media," he explained.
The Head of State and his Jubilee brigade are scheduled to campaign in the South Rift region with an aim of convincing the vote rich region to rally behind them.
