President Uhuru Kenyatta Dares Raila Odinga to Test His Presidency

President Uhuru Kenyatta has dared the National Super Alliance (NASA) led by Raila Odinga to test his presidency if they think he does not have enough powers following the nullification of his re-election.

While addressing North Eastern delegates at State House on Thursday, Mr Kenyatta responded to the various claims by the Opposition that he is merely a temporary president and does not have any power to steer the country.

"Kama wanafikirii hii nchi haina rais, Si wajaribu waone kama hii nchi ina rais ama haina...(If they think the Country does not have a president, they should try and see if the country has a president or not)," President Kenyatta stated.

In various past events, NASA leaders led by Raila Odinga have been alleging that Mr Kenyatta is no longer the President following the Supreme Court decision that nullified his win.

Mr Kenyatta also bashed the Opposition for constantly hurling all manner of accusations at his presidency and the Jubilee Party adding that Jubilee does not find the necessity to fight back every day.

"Our primary concern is to woo voters in various parts of the country with the hope that the party manifestos will impress voters.

"I have said that the state is intact, the government is in place and working, and we look forward to peaceful elections at the date announced by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission," he noted.

Regarding the full Supreme Court verdict released by the judges yesterday, Mr Kenyatta accused the Supreme Court Judges who overturned his win of judicial dictatorship stating that they violated democracy.

"I must call it what it is," he stated.
