DP Ruto Discloses His Plan if Uhuru Loses Election

Deputy President William Ruto has disclosed his plan in the event President Uhuru Kenyatta loses the fresh elections slated for October 26.

Speaking on Sunday during a TV interview, the DP revealed that if National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga wins the fresh elections fairly they would concede defeat and engage in other activities.

"If we lose I will go and carry out other businesses. I'll go rear chicken and I have my Ph.D. pending which I will take the time to complete," he stated.

He defended the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) asking Kenyans to allow the body to carry out the fresh elections.

"The IEBC has assured Kenyans it is ready. Let us not second guess the commission and give it space to fulfill its mandate," DP Ruto conveyed.

He expressed his disappointment with the Supreme Court decision to nullify Kenyatta's win.

"It is wrong to subject the decision of a voter to a process. That is undemocratic and usurps the choice of Kenyans," he added.

DP Ruto further revealed that he blocked Lawyer Miguna Miguna on Twitter last week because he could not allow the Nairobi governorship loser to terrorize him.

"I don’t allow negative people to terrorize me. If you are going to make it your business to say negative things about me and my family, I will block you," he disclosed.

DP Ruto stated that Miguna's constant unwarranted attacks on his family irked him and that was crossing the line.

"And you cannot distinguish between Ruto the politician and Ruto the family man, consistently crossing the line by attacking my family and that is unacceptable," he maintained.
