Raila Reveals Where Formula Used to Generate August 8 Election Results was Produced

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has revealed the location where the formula used to generate the August poll results was made.

Speaking on Friday after meeting Anglican church leaders in Nairobi, Mr Odinga claimed that all the data on the August election was generated by cartels based at a Kenyan military station located in Karen.

"The cartels involved in rigging polls put equipment at the military installation in Karen meant for conducting border surveillance, the data was not coming from any polling station. This was a fraud of the highest order," he noted.

The former Prime Minister further maintained his stand on boycotting the upcoming polls unless the irreducible minimums he has given to IEBC are met.

NASA coalition is against French firm OT Morpho, that supplied electronic material used during the August election, to be used in the upcoming poll.

The Odinga-led team has also opposed the involvement of  Dubai-based Al Ghurair firm in the printing of the presidential ballot papers.

On Tuesday, Mr Odinga accused Safaricom of colluding with the electoral commission to derail the transmission of results.

He indicated that Safaricom had failed to establish a link for transmission of election results and that the company had further conspired to cover up offences committed by the IEBC and its ICT contractor OT-Morpho.

The Anglican leaders had invited the ODM leader to the All Saints Cathedral for talks over his concerns regarding the repeat polls.

The standoff between the Opposition, Jubilee and IEBC worsened when the talks to discuss issues raised by the parties at the Bomas of Kenya collapsed.

"We have told the church leader that we are conscious and open to dialogue if the other side shows kind of preparedness," Odinga said.

"We are saying that we are ready if the IEBC will be ready and if Jubilee will stop this sort of nonsense that they are trying to introduce through Parliament. Until those conditions are met, there will be no elections," the ODM leader added.
