Mutahi Ngunyi Gives Chebukati 1 Trick That Will Make Uhuru Attend IEBC Meetings

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has advised the IEBC Chairman, Wafula Chebukati, on how to secure a meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Following a series of meetings where the President was a no-show, Prof Ngunyi has suggested that the IEBC should seek an audience with Kenyatta at State House.

The vocal analyst argues that the supremacy of the Presidency is the only obstacle that has hindered the Jubilee candidate from attending meetings at Bomas of Kenya - the National Tallying Centre.

Making no apologies, the Professor affirmed that Mr Chebukati had no authority or jurisdiction to summon the President.

"As President, Uhuru does not go to Chebukati. Chebukati goes to Uhuru," Ngunyi's tweet read in part.

He went on to outline that the only meeting the Head of State would certainly attend is one that is held at State House.

"If dialogue is not at State House, Uhuru will not show. That simple!" Ngunyi exclaimed.

The political analyst shared the tweet on Tuesday, soon after Deputy President William Ruto represented President Kenyatta at a meeting organised by the IEBC.

Mr Ruto expressed confidence in the preparations the IEBC has already made towards the October 26 repeat poll.
