Jubilee Party's New Offer To Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka

Jubilee leaders have asked Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to leave NASA and join the ruling party to form the next government.

The leaders accused Opposition leader Raila Odinga of misleading his deputy and claimed that the Kamba Community was missing their share of the cake for siding with him.

Nominated Member of Parliament (MP) Maina Kamanda stated that Kitui residents had not taken part in NASA demonstrations against the IEBC.

"Let those demonstrating in Kisumu vandalize their own infrastructure. If they try to vandalize anything in Nairobi, we the Kamandas are there to protect our property," he stated.

Kitui South MP Rachel Nyamai asked residents to shun Raila for failing to present himself in person unlike the President and his deputy William Ruto who had repeatedly visited the region.

She accused Opposition leaders of being interested in misusing youths to cause chaos and destabilize the government.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto have in the past asked Kalonzo to join them, telling him that he was wasting his time in the Opposition.

Uhuru made the offer in July after the NASA Deputy Presidential hopeful stated that he cannot join the "sinking ship" that is Jubilee Party.

Raila pulled out of the October 26 repeat election and called for fresh polls. Kalonzo was to be his running mate in the election.

The Opposition claimed that the decision is in Kenya's interest and is a "win-win" for everyone.
