Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri has revealed National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga's plan to ensure Jubilee supporters do not vote on October 26.
Speaking in Laikipia County on Saturday during the Uhuru Witu Caravan Reloaded campaigns, Kiunjuri stated that Odinga lied he had withdrawn from the presidential race when he had, in fact, not signed the statutory form 24A as required.
He noted that the NASA leader was using this to trick Jubilee supporters into not voting while NASA supporters would wake up to vote for Odinga.
"Raila amesema ameandika barua kwa IEBC. Lakini kujiuzulu ni kusign form 24A ambayo amekataa kusign. Hajatoka kwa uchaguzi (Raila claims that he has written to IEBC concerning his withdrawal from the presidential race. He has, however, refused to sign form 24A," Kiunjuri stated.
"Mimi niko na hakika Raila anataka mfikirie haendi kwa uchaguzi mlale tarehe ishirini na sita, mlale watu wake waamke waende wapige kura (I am convinced that Raila wants you to think that he will not be on the ballot so that you sleep on 26th as his supporters wake up to vote for him)," Kiunjuri added.

On Tuesday, Odinga announced that he had withdrawn from the October 26 Presidential election since IEBC had failed to address NASA's list of irreducible minimums.
A day later, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced that all eight presidential candidates who ran in the nullified August 8th poll would be on the ballot.
This came after Thirdway Alliance Presidential Candidate Ekuru Aukot successfully petitioned the High Court to compel IEBC to include his name in the ballot paper
IEBC stated that it had already gazetted the names of the candidates who will vie on October 26th, a list that included Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
The electoral commission, however, noted that a candidate can only withdraw his/her candidature after delivering a dully filled form 24A which the NASA leader had not submitted.
