The eagerly awaited announcement comes after a group of NASA leaders on Saturday threatened that they would swear in their party leader as President.

Led by Siaya Senator James Orengo, the NASA leaders noted that they would not recognize President Kenyatta’s victory adding that the repeat presidential elections were not credible and did not meet the required standards.

On Friday, Mr Odinga revealed that the coalition would use the court to pile pressure on the Jubilee administration.

In an interview with CNN, Mr Odinga termed Thursday’s repeat presidential election as 'a sham’, affirming that NASA will only engage the government on how another election will be conducted within 90 days.

“If the government imposes itself on the people, the people have a right to self-determination, the people also have a right to disobey orders coming from such a government, therefore, we will not go for violent confrontations with the government we will go for peaceful resistance," Odinga declared.

Odinga termed the low voter turn out in Thursday's poll as “a vote of no confidence” in President Kenyatta’s government.
