We Don't Know You - Luo Leaders Warned After Defying Raila's Order

A group of National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders under the umbrella group Nyanza Youth Alliance (NYA) has dismissed the Luo Youth caucus which rejected boycott calls by Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Kisumu on Friday, the NYA leaders, stated that they were the legitimate youth representatives adding that they did not recognize the caucus.

"We want to say very clearly that these are people we don't know. In Nyanza, we have never seen them.

"Youth leaders who represent the Luo are in the capital city of the Luo nation which is Kisumu. We do not recognise them and they have no capacity to tell Raila Odinga to call off anything," the leaders stated.

The team accused the caucus of being Jubilee agents adding that they had been sponsored to tarnish the Opposition's name.

"We are aware that the caucus was sponsored by our opponents to paint NASA in bad blood," they explained.

Meanwhile, the group of youth affiliated to the National Super Alliance (NASA) on Wednesday disagreed with Odinga's call to boycott products and services of some companies.

Under the Luo National Youth Caucus, the leaders noted that numerous losses in Nyanza region were being reported and called on Mr Odinga to rethink his stand.

The group Chairman, Roy K’Obwanga, explained that the Nyanza region was suffering economically and a different path should be taken by the coalition.

The caucus members announced that they will spread the message to other counties since many people are suffering silently.

Last week, NASA leaders came out and asked their supporters not to seek services and products from some companies which they accused of supporting the Jubilee administration.
