Why Moses Kuria Wants Kenyans to Pray For Raila

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has asked Kenyans to pray for National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga.

Kuria took to his Facebook account, where he claimed that Odinga had totally lost it for stating that he would be sworn in as President on December 12.

The MP stated that it would be logical for the NASA leader to check himself into a mental hospital.

He further stated that he would instruct Odinga’s bodyguards to take him to Mathari Hospital in Nairobi.

Kuria wrote: "Vision 2052. Say a prayer for this man. He has lost it totally. It is illogical to expect him to check himself into a mental hospital. I may have to instruct his bodyguards to take him to Mathari. Purely on humanitarian basis."

On Tuesday, Odinga announced that he will be sworn in as President on Jamhuri day by the People's Assembly.

Mr Odinga pointed out that he will be sworn in using the first chapter of the Constitution on peoples sovereignty.

He noted that there will be a peaceful transition of power adding that he would be sworn in the same way Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa was inaugurated.

The former Prime Minister reiterated that President Uhuru Kenyatta is not the legitimate Head of State despite him being sworn in on Tuesday.
