Following Nyenze's death, Musyoka penned an emotional letter mourning the deceased as a great leader who was full of commitment.

"As Leader of Minority in the 11th Parliament, Hon. Nyenze served the country with great commitment and dedication.

"His non-confrontational, gentlemanly mien was a great asset in helping to build bridges among political protagonists.

"In the departure of Hon. Nyenze, the Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya fraternity in particular, and Kenyans, in general, have lost a great leader," Kalonzo stated.

The late MP will be buried on Tuesday 19 December 2017 in Kyondoni, Kabati.

Mr Musyoka will also travel to Arusha to attend his son Kennedy Musyoka's inauguration after he was elected to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
