Seek Counseling For Losing Elections- Kalembe Ndile Tells Raila

Former Kibwezi Member of Parliament (MP) Kalembe Ndile on Saturday called upon National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to seek psychological counseling for losing August General Elections.

Mr Ndile who lost during the last year's General Election also urged the government led by President Uhuru Kenyatta to set up an open trauma counseling center for all other election losers.

Speaking in Gatundu North, Mr Ndile equated the effects of losing an election to death stating that they affect politicians gruesomely.

He described the former Prime Minister as a perennial loser who never accepts defeat in polls.

"Let Raila drop his planned swearing in and humbly accept defeat since Kenya cannot have two presidents.

"I remember after the death of his father the late Jaramogi Odinga, Ford Kenya held an election in Thika where he lost to Kijana Wamalwa and he still cried foul," he conveyed.

The former MP further urged Mr Odinga's supporters to accept the defeat and move adding that the swearing-in plan is meant to give them false hope.

He made the statement amid the plans by NASA to swear in Mr Odinga as the People's President.

According to Ndile, Raila's claim that the election was rigged in favor of President Kenyatta was meant to deepen the rift among Kenyans during the electioneering period.
