Musyoka stated that he was in full support of Kenyatta’s comments that leaders who have been involved in corruption should not be allowed to occupy public positions.
He, however, challenged Kenyatta to implement those comments by investigating Ruto whom he accused of causing stress to the President.
“When you hear this guy called Ruto, he is the one who has been stressing the President. I fully support that corrupt politicians should not be allowed to ascend to power but please start with investigating that person who is behind you,” Musyoka stated.
President Kenyatta has firmly stated that politicians who are facing corruption cases and other integrity issues will not be given tickets under the Jubilee Party which he heads.
Musyoka's comments came as the Wiper Party leader strongly denied that he had secret meetings with President Kenyatta and his deputy Ruto while they were in Mombasa.
