Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi on Tuesday revealed how self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna was destroying National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga's political legacy.
Speaking during a panel discussion on NTV, the Jubilee Senator opined that the controversial politician was using Raila's legacy to gain political mileage during the next political cycle.
"Raila has invested a lifetime in his political careers. At the tail end, it is being used by people who want to cash in on it to make a name for themselves. He shouldn't let his legacy be succumbed and capitalized by Miguna.

"Miguna's intention is so that tomorrow when he runs for Governor he can campaign in areas like Kibera he will remind the people how he sided with Raila to get votes," he stated.
Senator Wamatangi disclosed that Dr Miguna was misleading the Former Prime Minister on the issue of swearing-in as the 'People's President', adding that it would hurt his image as a political reformer.
He further stated that the opposition leader wanted to exit the political arena with his legacy intact as a reformer.
"He (Raila) wants to leave with his head held high like an old man who has served his time to go and retire. I'd ask Raila what can he do to ensure these guys can stop making him so cheap," he conveyed.
During the same discussion, Miguna Miguna declared that NASA leader Raila Odinga would be sworn in whether he likes it or not.
The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) head of operations reiterated that the fresh plan was still on and nothing would stop it.
"We will swear in Raila Odinga on January 30...Raila has no option. He will be sworn in whether he likes it or not.
"He is going to be the people's President because I have the server results of August 8 (General Election)," stated Miguna.
