Why Miguna Miguna Wants David Ndii to be Stoned

Self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna on Saturday told the opposition to stone National Super Alliance (NASA) strategist David Ndii and members of the 'swearing-in' committee if they postponed Raila Odinga's 'swearing-in.'

Through his social media, the outspoken politician declared that Kenyans were tired of waiting for Mr Odinga's inauguration as 'President.'

"Next time Oduor Ong'wen, David Ndii and Noah Akala address a press conference promising to announce another committee or swearing-in date for Raila Odinga, NRM soldiers have explicit authority from me to stone them. Kenyans are tired. We must act right now!" he tweeted.

Miguna's announcement came after a group of youth ambushed the Opposition Leader with a Bible demanding for his immediate inauguration at the burial of the late Professor Calestous Juma in Budalangi, Busia County.

The youth marched forward when the former Prime Minister started addressing the mourners and demanded that he take an oath of office as the People's President.

The sentiments of the youth were echoed by Busia Woman Representative Florence Mutua who noted that Mr Odinga should accept the Bible and take the oath.

In a series of tweets, Miguna further stated: "Kenyans need and deserve action- not "resolutions." NASA has embarrassed itself long enough. Kalonzo Musyoka is still on his knees, begging for a mythical dialogue that only exists in his mind and in the minds of those shouting about it. We have had enough!"

The Wiper Party Leader on Saturday made a request to the Opposition Chief urging him to engage in dialogue with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during an interview with the Sunday Standard at his Karen home, Mr Musyoka noted that he was ready to initiate dialogue between the two leaders.

In a tweet on Sunday, Mr Miguna explained that there was a rift developing between President Uhuru and William Ruto urging the DP to join the resistance movement to save face

"Mr Kenyatta has sank William Ruto's boat. Ruto is a punctured tire. Kaput. He is putting a brave face, typical of political wagon pushers. He doesn't understand strategy or history. He is where Jaramogi was in 1966. Let him return all stolen public assets and join the NRM," he wrote.
