National Super Alliance (NASA) CEO Norman Magaya on Monday attacked Attorney General (AG) Githu Muigai after he moved to court challenging the legality of the People's Assemblies.
In a tweet, the NASA CEO noted that the AG's empty threats regarding treason had failed and that is why he was moving to court to challenge the assemblies.
Mr Magaya further noted that the AG was confused and hopeless adding that Prof Githu and the entire Jubilee Government will be sent home.

"Githu Muigai is terribly confused and conflicted. After hyping empty threats about a non-existent offense called high treason which fell flat, he now wants to challenge the legality of people's assembly.
"Hopeless professor. You and the jubilee junta are headed home," Magaya posted.
The NASA CEO made the remarks following a move by the AG to file a petition at the Milimani Law Courts, challenging the constitutionality of NASA's People's Assemblies.
In the case filed under a certificate of urgency, Prof Muigai stated that the 15 People's Assemblies currently established are 'an illegality.'
The 15 counties sued in the petition include Mombasa, Kwale, Kilifi, Mandera, Kitui, Machakos, Makueni, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Busia, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay and Migori counties.
"The establishment of the People's Assemblies by the aforementioned County Assemblies is an illegality as the institution is alien to the Constitution and is neither established within the framework of the County Government's Act or any other legislation.
"The establishment of the proposed assemblies is also not envisioned within the mandate or function of County Assemblies or indeed County Governments," the petition read in part.

He further noted that the people's assemblies were performing the duties of the National Assembly.
