National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi have broken their silence after their notable absence during former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's swearing-in on Tuesday.
Speaking soon after the brief oath ceremony held at Uhuru Park, the three co-principals declined to offer an explanation for missing out on the Opposition's ceremony.
They, however, stated they were firmly in NASA as members of the coalition's summit.
Hinting at possible discord within the coalition, the three leaders explained that the co-principals had failed to meet on Tuesday morning ahead of the swearing-in.

"Yesterday, 29 January 2018 as the four NASA Principals, we had a lengthy meeting where we revisited the controversial Election of 8th August 2018, which was nullified by the Supreme Court, as well as the boycotted election of 26 October 2017 and our reform agenda and in particular electoral justice, among other important issues.
"We agreed to meet again this morning. However, due to circumstances beyond our comprehension and control, the four of us did not assemble as planned," a statement by the three leaders read in part.
The leaders further reassured NASA supporters that the failed meeting would be held again on Friday to iron out "immense challenges facing this country."
Mr Odinga took the oath of office to become the people's president on January 30 in a brief ceremony that was officiated by lawyers Miguna Miguna and T. J. Kajwang' (Ruaraka MP).
The statement came even as Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i declared the National Resistance Movement (NRM) an organised criminal group.
Dr Matiang'i further added that the group would be dealt with in accordance with a section of the Constitution that states: "Where the Minister has reasonable grounds to believe that a specified group is engaged in any organized criminal activity under section 3 of this Act, he may, on the advice of the Commissioner of Police, by notice, declare that specified group an organized criminal group for the purposes of this Act."
