Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) lit up the internet for the better part of Thursday explaining what chang'aa (local brew) is to singer-songwriter John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen.
A netizen noted that Kenyan musician Otile Brown is a look-alike of Legend, a 10-time Grammy Winner, and took the opportunity to ask Chrissy to "come get her Kenyan husband".
Chrissy, who is known for engaging her followers, noted that Otile Brown was captioned as having come from humble beginnings selling chang'aa to being the Kenyan Version of Legend and was curious to find out what chang'aa is and if should could have some.
KOT took the opportunity and hilariously schooled Chrissy about the illegal alcoholic drink brewed in Kenya.

The tweeps also told Chrissy of the dangers of the drink if consumed since it had made people blind in the past.
Hahaha Chrissy ... chang'aa is traditionally brewed alcohol in Kenya. If you drink too much of it, you could go blind. So, how many litres do I order for you?

Others warned of the dangers of taking the brew especially now that Chrissy is pregnant with their second child.
not while you're pregnant

Lol! Nope. Unless you want to meet your maker. It is a lethal brew.

In the usual Kenyan style, some joked of how chang'aa brewers will take the opportunity and market the illegal brew using the American entertainer's pictures.
I'm afraid Chang'aa is going to start advertising and probably start illegally using @chrissyteigen's images for their billboards and classifieds

Otile Brown had previously revealed that he was forced to sell chang'aa at the age of 12 after both his parents died.
The Mombasa-based singer maintained that he defied all odds after abandoning his dreams of becoming a news anchor to rise as one of the best musicians in Kenya.

Kenyans have often compared his singing and style to John Legend who is famous for his suits and piano skills.
