NASA leader Raila Odinga on Saturday revealed that Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i could not ban the National Resistance Movement (NRM) because it was not a registered entity yet.
Speaking in Vihiga County at the burial of Justus Etale, father to ODM Director of communications Philip Etale, the NASA leader stated that he would not be intimidated by threats of being charged with treason.
"I will not be intimidated and I will continue to work as the ‘People’s President’ of the Republic of Kenya.
"We are yet to register National Resistance Movement, how do you ban something that doesn't exist, they (Jubilee) have panicked," he stated.

He added that NRM was an idea whose time had come and that he would not relent in his pursuit for electoral justice.
The former Prime Minister addressed the deportation of self-declared NRM general Miguna Miguna stating that they would fight to bring him back from Canada.
Earlier on Friday, a Nairobi High Court quashed the Gazette Notice by Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i that outlawed the NRM.
Justice John Mativo issued this directive barring CS Matiang'i from implementing and effecting this notice pending the hearing and determination of the case.
The movement, which is considered an arm of the Opposition, had been outlawed and declared an organized criminal group after the inauguration of Odinga as the People's President.
The former Education CS cited Prevention of Organised Crimes Act 2010 when making the declaration.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 22 of the Act, the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government declares National Resistance Movement (NRM) to be organized criminal group for the purposes of the Act,” it read.
