Miguna Miguna Shares Alarming Email he Received

Opposition politician Miguna Miguna on Monday shared screenshots of what he termed as a death threat he had allegedly received on his email.

The email seen by Kenyans.co.ke indicated that the leader of the outlawed National Resistance Movement (NRM) was under surveillance as he is currently in Canada.

"Tuna kuonya. Usipo wacha kumtusi rais, usifikirie hatuna watu mahala popote. Tunakuangalia (Be warned. Don't insult the President again. We have people everywhere. We are watching you)," the alleged email threat read in part.

The email went on to list five names of "International Premier Clients" whose identities could not be established.

In addition, the email listed the names similar to those of six prominent Kenyan personalities who died under mysterious circumstances.

The six names listed were: Juma Jacob, S. K. Ndung'u, Msando Chris, Ouko Robert, Thuo George and Kilonzo Mutula.

The closing line of the chilling email was written in vernacular, warning the recipient not to joke with the government.

Miguna accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of being behind the email warning them that he would not cower.

"The NRM General and soldiers are fearless, Uhuru must go," he captioned the post on his social media pages.

Miguna was deported to Canada after being accused of participating in an act of treason by swearing-in NASA leader Raila Odinga as the people's president.
