Earlier in February, another craft crashed at Nairobi National Park minutes after takeoff from Wilson Airport.

The crash occurred during a morning training session which left the instructor and a pilot trainee injured.

Emergency services providers responded rushing the two occupants to a hospital for treatment.

Another crash happened after a Kenya Air Force fighter jet crashed near a school on the Laikipia-Isiolo border, near Lepurua.

No fatalities were reported then as the pilot ejected before the crash.

Isiolo County Commissioner George Natembeya confirmed the incident which left Lepurua residents amazed and relieved the jet did not land on them.
