Ousted Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter might lose the support of Jubilee Party which sponsored his election bid when the fresh by-elections are held.
According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), it will conduct by-elections for election petition losers within sixty days.
Speaking exclusively to Kenyans.co.ke, IEBC communication manager Andrew Limo further affirmed that the electoral agency will hold fresh nominations for areas that courts have their elections nullified.
Limo further added that anyone who will be cleared by the IEBC will be allowed to vie in the by-elections even as independent candidates.
"There will be fresh nominations and anyone eligible can contest. We will work out dates as soon as we get formal documents from the courts," Limo stated.

The same was reiterated by Lawyer Nelson Havi who stated that the IEBC should conduct the election within sixty days after the last case is heard.
Havi also noted that any MP or Governor who lost their seat should cease to enjoy the benefits of their office unless they officially file an appeal in court.
According to the Elections Act, for purposes of any other poll apart from the General Election, "the Commission shall by notice in the prescribed form, specify the day or days upon which political parties shall
nominate candidates to contest in a presidential, parliamentary or county election in accordance with its constitution or rules, which shall be at least forty-five days before such election."
In case of the fresh nominations, the Jubilee Party might decide to select another candidate to vie for the Nandi Hills seat thus leaving Keter out in the cold.
The ousted MP has been a thorn in the flesh of his Party and on Thursday criticised the ruling party maintaining that he was being fought due to his stand on various issues.
The first time lawmaker had once criticised the awarding of the multi-billion-shilling Standard Gauge Railway tender to a Chinese firm and allegedly assaulted workers.
Keter, alongside other four legislators, was kicked out as chairs of various parliamentary committees over differences with Jubilee.

The firebrand lawmaker even got backing from NASA MPs insisting voting for Parliamentary Committee which he had been kicked out of should be done through secret ballot.
