Self-styled NRM General Miguna Miguna is allegedly being investigated by authorities in Dubai hours after he left for Toronto, Canada.
Reports by Nation indicate that United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities had started investigations on how Miguna got his Canadian passport back.
This is after he failed to produce the Canadian passport to the authorities on departure from Kenya and arrival in Dubai following his deportation.

Miguna had indicated that he did not have his Canadian passport with him at JKIA although he had used it to travel from Canada.
Dubai had allegedly sought the intervention of Canadian Consulate in UAE to have Miguna produce his Canadian passport to facilitate his travel back to Canada or risk being sent to jail.
In a statement sent from Ontario, Canada, however, Miguna refuted the claims of having used his Canadian passport to travel out of Dubai.
"The issue here is not how I have traveled to get medical treatment or on what passport. The issue here is my abduction, assault, drugging and forceful removal by a rogue regime in defiance of more than ten court orders!" Miguna stated on Facebook.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Miguna's lawyer Nelson Havi underplayed the consequence of the said investigations by Dubai.
"What are they investigating? It's not an important issue. It's a non-issue." Havi retorted.

Havi further dismissed the allleged investigation as UAE was aware of how Miguna got on the plane to Dubai.
He stated: "Emirates knows it's against IATA regulations to fly someone who is unconscious and he (Miguna) was also unwilling."
