National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga is reportedly in Arusha, Tanzania for a vacation.
According to Tanzanian daily The Citizen, Arusha Mayor Kalisti Lazaro stated on Tuesday that the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader would be in Tanzania for an unspecified short holiday.
Lazaro briefly met Raila in the city located in northern Tanzania.
Raila had also been in Tanzania over the long Easter weekend, prompting an angry reaction from self-styled National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna who was deported to Canada.
Miguna accused Raila of not doing enough to secure his smooth return to Kenya despite having been the one who swore him in as the People's President at Uhuru Park on January 30.

“Demand that Raila Odinga cannot and should not be enjoying Easter abroad and dining with the tyrants when the person who swore him in as The People’s President is being “murdered” by those who stole his election and who have killed and maimed his supporters,” a statement on his social media pages read in part.
At the time, Miguna was in Dubai after being forced onto an Emirates plane at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). The lawyer claims he was sedated and poisoned by state agents and was unconcious when he got on the plane.
One of his lawyers Nelson Havi later told Kenyans.co.ke that they would sue the government for attempted murder if toxicology tests Miguna was undergoing in Canada confirmed his allegations.
Siaya Senator James Orengo, a long-time Raila ally and also one of Miguna's lawyers, lamented that the handshake seemed doomed judging from the treatment Miguna received.
"Uhuru has to be held accountable now...Any engagement with him in any process would be an act of impunity because he is condoning blatant and brazen defiance of court orders...The handshake rises or falls on the pedestal of the rule of law, and if the State is out to undermine the rule of law, then it has no basis. The joint statement by the two also talked about rights and respect for the rule of law," he stated.
