Miguna Miguna Announces Major Demonstrations to Take Place in UK

Self-declared National Resistance Movement general on Thursday announced that there would be major demonstrations in the United Kingdom (UK).

Through his social media, Miguna stated that the protest would be held to demand social justice and restoration of the rule of law in Kenya.

"I thank NRMKe members, patriots, comrades and friends of Kenya, for taking up action," he declared.

Dr Miguna conveyed that the events would be held in front of Parliament Westminister building.

Since being deported last week, Miguna has remained critical of the government on denying him entry to the country.

"The despotic President Uhuru and William Ruto ordered my house bombed, my illegal abduction, assault, torture, incommunicado detention, sedation and chemical poisoning and forceful removal from Kenya - twice in violation of 11 court orders. Don't preach to us about "handshakes" or "national reconciliation."

"Reconciliation can only happen after we have comprehensively addressed issues of social justice, electoral justice, the rule of law, constitutionalism and respect for human rights," he stated on Wednesday.

He also hit out at Interir CS Fred Matiang'i daring him to charge him if he had acquired his documents illegally.

"Mr. Matiangi, if I acquired my Kenyan passport fraudulently, charge me. If I violated any immigration law, rule or procedure, charge me. If I uttered any falsehoods in court, charge me with perjury.

"Produce me in a court of competent jurisdiction and let's face each other in court. You can't do that because you are lying. Stop using guns. Kenya must be a country governed by the Rule of Law; not guns!" he conveyed via his social media.
