Moses Kuria Advises Musalia Mudavadi & Moses Wetang'ula to Accept They Were Played by Raila

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on Saturday advised Opposition leaders Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula on the best way to move forward following the apparent 'betrayal' by Raila Odinga.

Speaking during the homecoming ceremony of Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa at Kiminini Primary in Trans Nzoia County, the Jubilee reiterated his words that he had cautioned the other principals against the impending betrayal prior to the 2017 polls.

"To Wetang'ula and Mudavadi nafikiria mnachezwa na nimewaambia mara mingi, mnachezwa (I believe you are being played and I have warned you on many separate occasions that you are being played," he stated.

He added that he had alerted the Western leaders that they would be dumped by the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader during Kijana Wamalwa's memorial and during campaigns here in Kiminini.

"Mkichezwa kubali mmechezwa (When you have been played, accept and when life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it)" he advised.

Earlier in March, Wetang'ula was removed as the Senate minority leader following a meeting by ODM senators.

In the lead-up and following his ouster, Raila maintained that he had nothing to do with the bold move within the opposition.

The Bungoma senator on his part warned that he would unleash a political war against Raila while faulting him over his decision to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta without their knowledge.

"We have regrouped to teach you a lesson" he conveyed adding that the trio consisting of Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi) had re-energised to take Raila and Uhuru head on.

"Despite us fighting relentlessly and some people losing their lives, the subsequent conduct of our presidential candidate is not only shocking but a betrayal of the highest order, " he stated at the time.
