KANU Explains How Gideon Moi Humbled Himself In front of DP William Ruto

KANU party on Sunday revealed that Baringo Senator Gideon Moi showed humility during the funeral ceremony of the late Baringo South MP Grace Kipchoim.

Through their social media, the party disclosed that the Senator was denied a sitting position in the VIP area where Deputy President William Ruto was seated together with other dignitaries.

"When they denied Senator Gideon Moi a seat in the Executive area to humiliate him, the wananchi who were gracious enough gave him the front seat and he was very comfortable. Humility is a virtue," KANU tweeted on Sunday.

On the other hand, on DP Ruto's page, the photos posted showed that Moi was allowed to sit in the Executive area with other politicians.

During his address, DP Ruto steered away from politics instead choosing to honour the late MP.

"I am the stand-in MP for this constituency until another leader is elected and I shall work to ensure projects started by the Late Kipchoim are completed," he stated.

However, legislators allied to him did not shy away from addressing the Baringo Senator over why DP Ruto was snubbed when he went to visit former President Daniel Moi.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi led the attack stating: "You are fake because you allowed an outsider Raila Odinga who opposed Jubilee during the previous election to greet your father yet you turned to lock outside your own brother."

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was more subtle in his address stating that: "The late Kipchoim has gone to rest in heaven, direct - because you do not need an appointment to see the Father."

On his part, Gideon asked the Jubilee politicians to keep his father (Daniel Moi) away from the insults.

"But I beg of you fellow leaders, keep my father away from insults and dirty politics. I am ready myself to stand for all abusive utterances," Moi conveyed.
