Gideon Moi Urges Politicians to Desist From Talking Ill About Mzee Moi

Baringo Senator Gideon Moi on Saturday urged Jubilee supporters and leaders who are accusing him of barring Deputy President William Ruto from meeting former President Daniel Moi on Thursday to desist from talking about his father.

Responding to accusations from leaders, the legislator stated that he is ready to carry all the insults himself if it is the gateway to 2022 succession politics.

"But I beg of you fellow leaders, keep my father away from insults and dirty politics. I am ready myself to stand for all abusive utterances," Moi affirmed.

Additionally, the KANU Chairman noted that he believes in humility and urged Rift Valley leaders to observe decorum while campaigning for their preferred candidate of 2022 presidential race.

"I will distance myself from politics because I just came today purposely to grieve with the family of the late Kipchoim, but I will still be back to tell you my 2022 agenda," Moi no declared.

Speaking during the burial of the late Baringo South Member of Parliament Grace Kipchoim, Jubilee leaders accused Gideon of allegedly having a hand in denying the DP access to meet Moi.

"You are fake because you allowed an outsider Raila Odinga who opposed Jubilee during the previous election to greet your father yet you turned to lock outside your own brother from the soil DP Ruto," Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi expressed.

On his part, Keiyo South MP Daniel Rono exclaimed: "Kenyans have already decided it is Ruto and that chapter has been closed."

Marakwet East MP Kangogo Bowen urged people of Rift Vally to respect both leaders.

"Let the two bulls continue fighting and if one shows some signs of infertility in 2022 then he should be castrated," Bowen directed.

However, in his speech, DP Ruto avoided speaking on the botched plan to Kabarak.
