On August 6th 2014, three men at Sun African Bar and Restaurant, attacked and stole from a victim.
The three were, however, arrested and were today arraigned at an Isiolo court to face charges of robbery with violence.
Senior Magistrate Joan Irura sentenced the trio to life imprisonment after charges leveled against them of robbery with violence were proven.
Michael Murungi, Samson Mwingirwa and Kennedy Kiogora will have to face the death penalty after they stole Sh700 from their last victim before being arrested.
They are also accused of having been using crude weapons to extort money from their victims.
The accused were locked up at the Meru GK Prison and given 14 days to appeal the ruling.
However, one of their colleagues, Francis Kanyiri, was released after it was found out that he was just a victim of circumstance.
